To make the combo I started with the color challenge, which led me to the images and verse from the company that supplied the colors and then because I had the sentiment in the set I went along with the third challenge for words.
The base card is yellow card stock layered with white and orange card stock.
The main piece is white card stock stenciled with Newton’s Nook Designs “Waves Stencil” & “Evergreens Stencil” using Distress mowed lawn and broken china inks.
Using StazOn jet black ink and the sentiment from Newton’s Nook Designs “Lake Advice” set I stamped it over the stenciled trees.
On the front I cut the waves with an exact knife.
With another piece of orange card stock I stamped the boats from the same set with the same ink, colored the inner part with white gel pen, trimmed them out and glue dotted them onto the card front.
Once I trimmed the edges I taped it to the card front.
