alcohol lift technique...

While hubby was out yesterday morning with our youngest at a pancake breakfast, it’s maple syrup time around here, I sat with my coffee and watched some Jennifer McGuire videos to get me inspired to try something new.
Since I had a bunch of alcohol ink background from playing with them last week I chose one with Distress alcohol inks eggplant, denim and silver mixative.
I felt those would look more “manly”.
 Here’s what I turned out with the technique...
To make the card I started with a light grey card stock base card and added navy blue card stock.
You can see the main piece in the center of the above photo.
Using two Lifestyle Crafts nesting circle dies I made a frame from navy blue card stock and glued it to the card front.
With MFT Die-namics “Little Hello” die I cut the background with navy blue card sock and the word with silver card stock.
This I foam taped to the card front.
