and
I have to admit I cheated a bit on this challenge.
Yes, it has wings but the repeat is actually a long stamp with the dragonflies.
The card is white card stock.
The image is a roll-a-graph from ages ago by Magenta Stamps that I removed from the wheel, trimmed the excess leaving only the dragonflies.
I applied Tombow Multi Mono Glue (the green and white bottle) to the back and allowed it to dry overnight .
This make the stamp stick to my Tim Holtz stamping platform.
This was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Next I applied painter’s tape along the dragonflies and makeup brushed Distress chipped sapphire and stormy sky inks.
After removing the tape I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up’s “Sweet Essentials” with the chipped sapphire ink.
Such cute little dragonflies. Thanks for playing along with us on the CASology Challenge blog.
ReplyDeleteI think this is wonderful Arlene - and the delicate image repeats beautifully :)
