The explanation of this challenge was just what I wanted to see...
“Remember that when you CASE a project you can take what you like from the design and make it your own.”
In my case I liked the idea of everything in a corner of the piece.
The base card is black card stock.
The main piece is kraft card stock run through the BigShot with a Tim Holtz “Spider web” embossing folder that i then sponged with Distress Oxide black soot ink.
The Kitty from Tim Holtz “Cat Chat” set was stamped onto kraft card stock with the Distress Oxide ink and die cut with the coordinating die.
The eyes were colored with Sakura Jelly Roll white gel pen.
He was wrapped with black twine and foam dotted to the card front.
The sentiment from Penny Black’s “be very scared” was stamped onto kraft card stock with the Distress Oxide, trimmed down, backed with black card stock and applied to the card front.
To finish I glue dotted black card stock spiders that I had punched out with an EK Success small spiders punch.
