Since the challenge included “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” I let the background paper speak to that.
If you look closely it has “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” on it, which we all know is when Santa comes to town.
The pencil toppers were made with a 3” piece of black card stock and punched in one corner with Stampin’ Up 1/2” round punch.
I folded it tip to tip with the hole at the bottom and taped to the left of it with 1/8” double sided tape.
The background paper was trimmed then glued on.
Using Bugaboo Stamps “Christmas Blocks” digi image and printing it on white card stock I colored it with Chameleon pens and trimmed them out to apply to the topper.
