Sometimes it’s not the image as much as the colors that evoke the interpretation of the challenge.
The base card is white card stock.
From kraft card stock I die cut the “Village Border” by Lawn Fawn.
I also cut one from black card stock to apply the leaves, doors and windows.
The “road” is a strip of black card stock and using a ruler I dashed the road paint with a white gel pen.
The car image from Lawn Fawn’s “Happy Trails” was stamped with StazOn jet black ink and colored with a white gel pen and a black marker.
After cutting it out I foam taped it to the card front.
To finish I stamped the verse from the same set with the StazOn.

  2. What a stunning card Arlene - love the brown and black against the white - great use of the limited palette. I had to look twice at the car, then realised that for you it is on the correct side of the white line...
