This Christmas card, yes it is one, is for a friend who lives near the snarky waters.
The card is white card stock with The Crafter’s Workshop “Mini Fence Frame” stencil overt he top.
To do the technique explained on the challenge site I took sand paper and rubbed a pencil on it (just the lead).
Using a sea sponge I rubbed the graphite from the sand paper onto the card through the stencil.
Next I stamped the sharks from MFT Stamps “Beach Buds” with StazOn jet black ink.
Using a pink eraser I removed the graphite from the sharks and colored them with Darice Studio 71 pens.
Now I sprayed it lightly twice with hair spray.
To finish I stamped the verse from MFT “Beach Buds along the bottom and made a mask for the shark’s teeth before stamping the word Christmas from MFT Stamps “Bitty Bears”.
(He is eating Christmas!!!)
What a fabulous net! So love what you did with the graphite! Thanks so much for joining us this week at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.
