Having been asked to do a guest designer spot I was so excited to play with the colors provided.
The base card is brown textured card stock with a layer of turquoise card stock (sponged along the edge with Distress walnut stain ink) and another piece of brown textured card stock.
The silver card stock from DCWV Metallics Mat Stack was cut with a die from Tim Holtz Mixed Media #2 and applied to the card front.
With more turquoise card stock I die cut the poinsettias (Tim Holtz Funky Festive) and the “joy” (Tim Holtz Holiday Words:Script) and sponged them with the same distress ink.
Using the brown card stock and the Tim Holtz Funky Festive I die cut the branches and centers to the poinsettias.
With the Tim Holtz Funky Festive die I cut out the silver centers to the poinsettias.
These I glued together and applied to the card front.
