It certainly pays not to donate ALL your crafting supplies to charity!
In this case it’s the Sizzix “Embossing Diffuser” set.
Foe this challenge I started with white card stock for the base card and applied a textured dark coral layer.
As per the sketch I cut the next piece of white card stock and stamped it with words from Simon Says “Happy 3x4” set with StazOn jet black ink.
Now comes the diffuser...
The first time I ran this piece through the Big Shot with the Stampin’ Up “Northern Flurry” embossing folder it only embossed half of the piece.
So I ran it through to get the embossing on the other side.
Uh, oh...
The first pressing got pressed out!
That’s when I though about the diffuser.
I cut another piece did everything the same until it came to the second run through.
This time I used part of the diffuser making sure the original flakes were clear.
It worked great!
I applied that to the card front and on another piece of white card stock I stamped the poinsettia from Unity Stamp’s “Graciellie Designs/A Christmas Hello” set with Gina K amalgam ink.
I colored it with Chameleon pens and trimmed it out to glue dot to the card front.
Wonderful textural card Arlene - love the final results with the snowflakes, that is stunning
