joy...

and

What fun to get your Christmas presents early.
Such is an order from Newton’s Nook Designs that hubby told me to order as an early prezzie!
The base card is white cad stock.
The main piece is white cardstock that I stenciled with Newton’s Nook Designs “Evergreens” stencil using Distress Oxide peeled paint.
While allowing that to dry I took a large post it note and drew through the stencil, then trimmed around with scissors.
This mask I applied to the trees and sponged Distress chipped sapphire ink.
In the lower right corner I stamped the verse from Newton’s Nook Designs “poinsettia blooms” with the Distress ink.
Once everything was dry I rubbed over it with a static bag, placed the Newton’s Nook Designs “snowfall” stencil on top and sponged Colorbox frost white ink through certain snowflakes.
I used Old Town Crafts, Inc. white jewels embossing powder to heat emboss the snowflakes and get that sparkly appearance.
