Snow much fun...

The wind chills outside today are -10 to -20 degrees and the snow is snowing and blowing.
I am lucky as, being retired, I can stay home and play.

I am also lucky because I had a room full of wonderful supplies that allow me to create without frustration.
For this challenge I started with a white linen card stock base card and added a layer of black linen card stock.
Using my Misti, kraft card stock, MFT's "lined chevron background" and StazOn jet black ink, I stamped the main piece of the card.
Once that was taped on I stamped the verse from MFT's "all occasion sentiments", using Colorbox white ink, on black linen card stock and used white embossing powder to heat set the verse.
I trimmed that out and taped it to the card front then applied the Paper Studio white and black "Gemstones" as they call them!

  1. Oh yes, NOTHING better than being retired and able to hunker when the temps are beyond tolerable. So happy you can. I really like the design on this card. It simple, and very classic. Great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along with us this week over at The Mod Squad. Oh, and it's -2 here in Northern Michigan as I write this!!
