On this glorious Fourth of July...

I am doing one of my three crafting passions, stamping.
(If you note that I don't post for a while that is because I am doing one of my other two passions knitting or quilting.)
Which brings me to my card today...

I wish our country was "Sew Happy Together" and that is why I used this card idea.
The base card is blue textured card stock and I trimmed out red and white quilted look card stock for the stripes.
I applied them to the card and then stamped the "stitches" from the TPC "Sewing" set using Adirondack denim ink.
On another piece of white card stock i stamped the spool from the same set using StazOn jet black ink and drew in the horizon line with a straight edge and permanent black marker.
I stamped the verse from the same set using the denim ink.
The coloring on the spool was done with Faber-Castell PITT artist pen.

  1. Fun card! Great play in patriotic. Sewing is sure a lost art and yes, we could certainly use a little "sew happy together" these days. Thank you so much for your entry - congrats on the First Class win!
