New type of Valentine...

I'll grant you this isn't Valentine's Day but for this challenge I knew I wanted to use the bees from my Paper Smooches set and it just fit.
So I'm one ahead for next year!

I had never used acetate for a main part of my cards before so this was tricky.
Using one of the Paper Smooches Wise Dies "Border 1" I cut the yellow card stock base card front.
Using the same die I cut up black card stock and attached it to the front.
next I placed a piece of acetate on the top cut piece of the front.
I attached the bottom front piece and trimmed off the bottom.
I cut a piece of white card stock for the inside of the card.
I stamped the verse from Paper Smooches "Bee Mine" set using StazOn jet black ink.
Then on a separate piece of white card stock I stamped the bees with the same ink and colored them with Prismacolor pencil.
I trimmed out the bees with scissors and attached them to the front of the card with glue dots.
