This was the perfect time for me to find this challenge, I just planted my long awaited lavender garden.
On water color paper I stamped the image from Stampin’ Up “Lots of Lavender(2018) and colored it with Derwent Inktense pencils and water coloring.
Next I cut it down and stamped the sentiment from Sizzix “Phrases, Card Sentiments” (2009).
To finish I backed it with black card stock and placed it on a white linen base card.
Just gorgeous, Arlene, I love simple perfect stems so much! Beautifully CAS, too - love the "tooth" on the paper for just the right touch of texture! Thanks so much for playing at Retro Rubber!

ReplyDeleteI too love lavender, and have some plants that are cuttings (of cuttings) off my mother's plants, that can be traced back to pre-war days...
