This card probably doesn’t qualify as CAS or less but I loved the colors so here it is.
The base card is white. card stock with a layer of blue card stock.
On white card stock I made a background using Distress inks, stamps and stencils.
This I cut with a cup die from Trinity Stamps”Boo Brew” set.
I cut card stocks using My Favorite Things “Stitched Square STAX” and taped them onto the card.
Next I foam taped the cup to the squares.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from Heffy Doodle “Tea Time Sentiment Stamps”.
This is so pretty Arlene!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Maybe not super CAS, but definitely a very pretty card! Love the mug--what a cool background!! Thanks so much for sharing at LIM!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card and sentiment!
ReplyDeleteWOW - this is fabulous - love how you have stacked the squares and your die cut mug of tea is outstandingly 'decorated'

This is so pretty and I just love that sentiment, nice job!
ReplyDeleteYup, I agree that it doesn't meet our definition of CAS due to the layering. That said, it's a fab card - I love the layering of inks and elements for your teacup colouring and the shading of the curve too. Thanks for joining us again at Less is More.
