I recently went on a day-cation with hubby and we found this wonderful gift/craft shop that had extra large stamps for home decor.
No, I didn’t need anymore stamps but I came home with one set called “Sprigs” by Iron Orchid Designs that I thought I could use.
Turns out they are great for slimline cards!
The base card is black card stock with a layer of cream car stock.
On a cream card stock main panel I stamped one of the “sprigs” and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.
I masked it with a mask from the Tim Holtz “Moon Mask” set an covered the card with Distress black soot oxide ink.
I applied the stencil to match the moon mask and with the little that was left on the brush I applied it to get the “moon” effect.
Before applying it to the base card I spritzed droplets of water an pulled them off with a paper towel.
Sometimes a card just doesn’t need a sentiment!
This looks amazing! You're right, no sentiment needed, Cathy x
