Still playing around with the Tim Holtz backgrounds.
This time I used white card stock and Distress inks seedless preserves and stormy sky.
The base card is a light purple.
The background is on the left.
The darker purple is seedless preserves applied to white card stock.
Using My Favorite Things “Happy Birthday” die-namic I made the sentiment and foam taped it to the card front.

Arlene, this is such a pretty card. You've done a great job creating the ink paper. That's such a fun technique. I must do more of that! The purple is great too.
