painting flowers…

One of my favorite artists is Frida Kahlo and this challenge lead me to pull out a Kindred Stamps set that I love.
The base card is cream card stock.
The flower panel was made with Distress inks, a Tim Holtz stencil and watercolor paper.
This was backed with black card stock and applied to the card front.
On white card stock I stamped the image from the Kindred Stamps set “Frida” and color it with Copic markers before trimming it out and foam taping it to the card front.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from the set on the card front.
