Looking through my premade cards I realized I need thank you, birthday, get well and thinking of you.
Not to mention the cards I want to make to donate!!!
To start I found the birthday challenge and pulled out a white card stock base card and applied green card stock.
On more white card stock I embossed the flowers with Tim Holtz #D Texture Fades “Botanical” then colored the leaves and flowers with chalk pencils.
Using more green card stock I die cut the flagged strip using MFT Stamps “Essential Stitched Sentiment” and stamped the sentiment from MFT Stamps “Bitty Birthday Wishes” using Versamark ink and heat embossing it with white embossing powder.
Beautiful card Arlene! Thank you for sharing your work with us on the AAA Birthday challenge.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of the embossing folder Arlene, and a magnificent card as a result

What an elegant card! I love that you used multiple shades of gold and green in your coloring to give the embossing more dimension and interest. Your thoughtful cropping of the embossed panel along with the black and white along one edge elevates this far above the put a sentiment on a background and call it a day type of card. It is clear you put effort into it for a lovely card!
