second use…

To be really honest about this card I must start by saying that the mittens were made up ahead and used as tags for Christmas this year, but instead of wasting them in the recycling I decided to recycle them into a card.
They were made with brown, red, green and white card stock using a die from Tim Holtz “Fresh Baked #1” die set.
The base card is brown card stock with a layer of white card stock, and that is where I become honest again.
The stripes on the white card stock are there because I goofed with I started and made a line too far down, so I just added a few more to make it look intentional!
After gluing the mittens to the card front I stamped the sentiment using stamps from Recollections that I picked up at Michael’s at the after Christmas sale with Gina K. Designs warm cocoa ink.
