Recently Sandy Allnock did a video about coloring on sandpaper with polychromos.
Hubby ran up to our local Harbor Frieght to find some high grit count sandpaper and came home with a pack of assorted grits, in black, for only $2.00!
I tried it, but not being a great free hand artist it turned out ok but nothing I would want to post.
Then I got the idea to try coloring through a stencil so I pulled out my Gina K. Designs flower stencil, laid it carefully on top of the sandpaper and started coloring with Prismacolor pencils.
I liked it!
The base card is white card stock.
I trimmed down the piece and applied it to the card front.
Using a piece of white card stock I die cut the sentiment using a die from Sizzix Tim Holtz “Friendship Words: Script” and glued it to the card front.
What a fascinating concept, and a great card as a result Arlene - love it
