The Paper Players Challenge #580
Continuing to use the images and sentiments from Papertrey Ink “Winter Woods” I designed the card using the sketch for this challenge.
The base card is black card stock with a layer of red card stock and white “wood” card stock.
I applied a strip of kraft card stock, then a circle die cut from more white “wood” card stock.
Next I cut a strip of kraft card stock and stamped the sentiment using Distress Oxide black soot ink.
On white card stock I die cut the cardinal using the coordinating die then stamped it with the stamps using Distress Oxide candied apple and black soot ink.
This I foam taped to the card front.
Very clever use of the sketch to create a wonderful card Arlene

Beautiful cardinal!
ReplyDeleteLove your cardinal! Beautiful card. Thanks for sharing at The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card, Arlene! Cardinals are one of my favorite birds and this little guy takes center stage on the clean layout. The little pop of texture is perfect, too. Thank you so much for playing along with my sketch this week over at The Paper Players!
