There’s a story to go along with this card!
Years ago I was going to my Mom’s in another town and a gust of wind came up and the false top to my car came off and went flipping into a ditch!
It left behind the, not very good, adhesive dots, big and black on a blue car.
This lead my son’s to start singing…
But with car instead of door.
It haunts me to this day and the boys have never forgotten!
The base card is white card stock.
I made a main piece of white card stock because I was using Copics to color and didn’t want them showing through.
I stamped that piece with images and sentiments from Avery Elle’s “Simply Said:Happy”, “Peek-A-Boo Car” and “Peek-A-Boo Jungle” using Memento tuxedo black ink.
After coloring with the Copics I applied the polka dots with a white gel pen.
What a fabulous car Arlene - I thought you have paper pieced the polka dots. A fun story too. Those are the stuff family memories/traditions are made of!
