As I finished this card I realized it would work as a Valentine…but it is definitely a mother’s day card.
The base card is white card stock with a layer of kraft card stock.
Using a die from MFT Die-namics “Pierced Heart STAX” I die cut the heart from red card stock.
With sentiment stamps from MFT “Ewe are the best I stamped them to the heart with Versamark ink and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.
This I layered to the card.
On more white card stock I stamped the images from the same MFT set using Memento tuxedo black ink and colored them with Prismacolor pencils.
These I cut out with my Brother Scan ‘N Cut as I didn’t have the dies for them.
I foam taped them to the card front.
What a fabulous card Arlene - love the simple image to illustrate the sentiment... and yes, it could be a valentines day card.
