it’s that time of year…

At least here in the northeast the squirrels are all over the property finding places to store the acorns off our trees.
Of course they forget where they planted them and we find seedlings in the Spring, but that’s nature for you!
The base card is white card stock.
I cut a layer of “bark” patterned paper from DCWV Autumn Delight Mat Stack and punched three squares using a Stampin’ Up 1” square punch.
This I applied a black strip to and attached it to the base card.
On more white card stock I stamped three acorns from Simon Says Stamp/Neat & Tangled set from Stamptember years ago.
These I stamped with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored with Copic markers, then die cut with the coordinating dies that came with the set.
I applied the acorns with foam squares.
Next I stamped a sentiment from the set on black card stock with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
This I cut around with scissors and foam taped to the card front.
To finish I foam squared the squirrel on the card front.
