When I came across this challenge I had just unpacked my new Autumn Distress Mica Stains and there was flickering candle (yellow) and jack-o-lantern (orange).
The base card is white card stock that I applied Distress ink fossilized amber around the outside edge.
Next I added a piece of black card stock.
The main piece is white car stock with Ranger crackle texture paste wiped through the Tim Holtz “Harlequin” stencil.
Once dry I applied the mica stains.
This I applied to the base card.
To finish I die cut three sentiments from Scrapbook.com “Celebrate” and glued them together before applying them to the card front.
Happy Birthday Color Hues!
This card just glows! I've never used mica stains, but this card certainly inspires me to give them a try. The black die cut sentiment is so striking. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues for our birthday celebration!
