Sand and water make a beach for me.
The base card is white card stock.
On more white card stock I stamped the image from Newton’s Nook Designs “Newton’s Summer” with MFT extreme black ink and colored it with Copic markers.
This I die cut with one of the dies from MFT Die-namics “Stitched Square STAX” and trimmed out the sand and sandcastle.
I die cut another piece of white card stock with the same die and taped it on my stenciling mat and stenciled it using Newton’s Nook Designs “Waves & Splashes Stencil” with Distress ink salvaged patina.
These I glued to the card front.
To finish I stamped the sentiment from Newton’s Nook Designs “Autumn Mice” with the MFT ink.
What a stunning card Arlene - love it! The wave background is wonderful behind the wee sand castle

We have a family story about the 'sandcastle of legend' and your card, with it's turreted castle and beautiful wavy background so reminds me of this. Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful "beachy" card and the use of the waves for background is very clever. Thank you for sharing your beautiful card with us at Addicted to CAS! xoxo Fran
