joy in the ordinary...

When I think of a sleigh I think of sledding down the hills on my sleigh.
That made me want to design a card using techniques from Tim Holtz.
I started with white card stock, a bit heavier for what I was going to do.
I cut a piece from Tim Holtz Paper Stash “Abandoned” and die cut the bottom off using a die from Tim Holtz “Snowman Scene” and gluing it to the white card stock.
I glued on the figure from Tim Holtz Paper Dolls “Christmas” and the sentiment from Tim Holtz “Quote Chips” using Tim Holtz collage medium matte finish.
Over the entire piece I brushed the collage medium and allowed it to dry.
Next I used Tim Holtz “Speckles” stencil with Distress Crayon picket fence to get the look of snow.
I also used Distress Crayon antiques bronze to color the hat, coat and statement.
This I taped to the front of a white base card.
