Winter...

It was so exciting to sit the other morning with a cup of coffee and go through Jennifer McGuires YouTube videos and find that she shared something with me.
She hadn’t used her gel plate yet either!!!
So I watched the video and then pulled mine out and spent the day playing.
Here’s the link...

I started by making some panels using my gel plate (which I placed on my Tim Holtz stamping platform), Lawn Fawn “Stitched Snowflakes” dies and Distress Oxides blueprint sketch, mermaid lagoon and tumbled glass.
Please watch her main video and then check out what she does with stencils and die cuts for more information.
The base card is white card stock with a layer of blue card stock.
The main panel was made like the die cut video.
This I die cut the “WINTER”, my granddaughters name, with MFT Die-namics “Impact Alphabet”.
Next I die cut craft foam with the same letters an a few of the Lawn Fawn snowflake dies.
After applying the die cut card stock to the die cut craft foam I applied them to the card front.

Isn’t it fun to finally play with things from your stash?

  1. Super lovely card Rose.. This is one of my favorite techniques.. But most importantly I loved the use of gel plate and the soft blue background it created.. Thank you for playing along at Happy Little Stampers.. Loads of love and happiness DT Dhruvika @the_cardogram
