get well soon...

There is a story behind this card.
My youngest son lives in a group home, he has Downs Syndrome.
He has not been able to be with us for weeks now because of COVID.
In trying to keep the residents safe they stopped home visits and visits to the house.
This worked very well, until a few days ago when we were informed that two if his housemates tested positive.
Yesterday I got the call that no Mom wants to get...he has now tested positive.
I am holding it hope that he manages to come through it alive and well.
I also hope he is better by his birthday in the middle of the month.
For now I will make and send cards, FaceTime him and send GIFs on messenger!
The base card is white card stock with a layer of black card stock.
The next layer is white card stock with lines embossed on it and a piece of grey card stock along the bottom.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the image from my new set Stampingbella’s “Oddball Geek” using Memento tuxedo black ink and colored it with Copic markers.
On the computer screen of the image I wrote in the sentiment.
I trimmed it out and glue dotted it to the card front.

May we all get through this craziness!

My boys seem stuck to their screens so I should look into images like this! Thanks for sharing at The Paper Players!
