and
I don’t know about you but I am glad I have played with the Tim Holtz ideas for stamping!
The ornaments were started with a piece of Yupo paper with alcohol inks cranberry and bottle.
Now using Alcohol Lift Ink and Tim Holtz “Mini Holidays” stamp set I removed some of the color.
This piece was die cut using Stampin’ Up’s “Delightful Decorations” dies catching snowflakes one and Santa on another.
Using gold metallic card stock I cut them out again but trimmed off the top and glued it to resemble ornament caps.
With some fine gold thread I wrapped it around the ornament and taped it up the back .
The base card is white card stock with a layer of gold metallic card stock and red card stock.
On the main piece of white card stock I glued the larger ornaments, pulling the bread to the back and taping it down, then Foam taped the smaller ornament doing the same with the thread.
This I applied to the base card and stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Ups “More Merry Messages” using Distress Oxide pine needles ink.
What stunning ornaments Arlene - a great card

WOW ! These ornaments are so beautiful, Arlene ! What a fabulous idea to make them with AI, they look so real and remind me the ornaments we used to have when I was a child. Thanks so much for sharing (and inspiring !) and playing along at ATSM. Keep well and safe !
