One of the ways I love to create is to paint images while listening to audio books on ...
It’s a great way to read those books you want while still creating cards!
The base card is light cream card stock.
The main piece is water color paper stamped with Penny Black’s “a berry branch” using MFT insulation pink ink and water colored with Distress Oxides walnut stain, peeled paint, festive berries and forest moss.
Once dry I stamped the sentiment from My Sentiments Exactly “Holiday Sentiments” using Distress Oxide walnut stain.
Check out the link to Libby and “read” one of your favorite books while you create!
I love listening to audiobooks while I craft, Arlene. It makes for the most enjoyable afternoon! Love, love, love your holly! It looks hand painted and gorgeous! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWonderful colouring with the Distress Oxide inks, they add such a softness to the colour. gorgeous card :) Thanks for joining us at CAS Christmas
ReplyDeleteAn outstanding card Arlene - love it, and so beautifully painted. I usually listen to a radio station when crafting - if I have anything audio on at all.

Beautifully watercoloured holly and berries Arlene! I sometimes listen to music when in my studio, but an audio book sounds like a great idea! Thanks for sharing your card with us at CAS Christmas!
