Mrs. Santa’s Christmas Eve pleasure...

and

While Santa is on his run and the elves are resting up Mrs. Claus went to the library before it closed and picked out some reading for the long evening while waiting for hubby.
Having worked in a library I was lucky enough to get some of the old book cards and envelopes.
This card starts with a base card of green polka dot card stock.
The card was printed with the important information and signed out by Mrs. Claus.
The envelope was made by pulling one apart , very gently, and tracing it onto the patterned paper.
Next I scored it where the original was scored and glued it together.
From excess paper I trimmed out the poinsettias and glued them to the envelope and taped it to the card front.
To finish I inserted the card.
