easy lattice...

Here’s my quick and easy instructions for easy lattice.
Take a piece of black card stock 8-1/2” x 11” and cut it down the middle top to bottom.
Fold one in half to make sure where center is.
Using MFT Die-namics “Inside & Out Stitched Square STAX”, or any square die, place it over the two pieces together and run it through your BigKick as per the card placement above.
This will probably not completely cut the bottom piece but you can trim that out with a craft knife.
Cut the non-folded piece to fit inside the top of the card matching the square, I cut about 1/4” off all around.
Using 1/8” double sided tape apply it to the inner piece of card stock around the square.
Place a piece of Recollections pre-cut lattice card stock and trim around the edge of the inner piece.
Apply more tape to the inside of the front of the card around the square.
Place more of the tape around the outside edge of the inner piece and place it on the back of the card front matching the squares.
To finish the card I stamped the sentiment from MFT Stamps “Jungle Friends” with Memento tuxedo black ink on a strip of white card stock that I applied to the card front.
The flower image (Teacup Flowers 1)  is from Bugaboo Stamps and I printed it onto white card stock and colored it with Chameleon pens before trimming it out with scissors and applying it to the card front.

  1. Thank you for the tutorial Arlene - you have inspired me to try at lattice card. Yours is a stunning card with the coloured lattice inside the black frame.
