doggie days...

Still feeling the heat?
We certainly are here in New York.
That was my inspiration for this card...walk your dogs in the grass not on blacktop or cement which could hurt their paw pads.
The base card is white card stock.
Using Distress inks mowed lawn and twisted citron with the MFT Mix-ables “Grassy Edge” stencil I sponged the grass on the card bottom.
To make the sun I sponged Distress squeezed lemonade and mustard seed through the MFT Mix-ables  “Sun Ray” stencil.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the images from MFT Stamps “Little Buddies” with StazOn jet black ink and colored them with Prismacolor pencils, artist stumps and Gamsol.
These I trimmed out and applied to the card front with glue and foam dots.
The sentiment from MFT Stamps “Beach Bunnies” was stamped with StazOn jet black ink.
