Simple sketches draw me in.
This one I did with black, white, pink card stocks.
The sentiment from Wplus9 “Greetings & Salutations” was stamped with StazOn jet black ink.
On more white card stock I printed the “4 block tulip square” from Bugaboo Stamps and colored it with Chameleon pens.
Since most people who read my blog are already stampers I am considering limiting my instructions?
Thoughts on this?
Personally, I think that if you limit your instructions, you may limit your success with new stampers... but that's just my thoughts (offered ONLY because you asked :).
ReplyDeleteLovely card!!!
As you keep your instructions brief, I find them quite readable, and I enjoy learning how you make your cards
ReplyDeleteLoving your colours and how you have used the sketch Arlene - a dramatic and eye catching result

I love your black/white/pink color combo! The images are so pretty with great coloring. Love tulips, too! Thanks for sharing and playing along this week over at The Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely images to use with this sketch. The colors are gorgeous! I like having a "menu" of sorts telling me what stamps/colors/products that are used, but that's just me! I have been known to scurry to a website and purchase something just because someone used it on their card! I think your details are short and to the point, I like them! And I am happy your chose to play with us this week at the Players!
ReplyDeleteI just love how the pink really pops on your card! Thanks so much for joining us this week over at The Paper Players!
