spotlight stamping...

Spotlight stamping is a very old technique of stamping the image twice then cut out areas to color and re-apply to the black and white image with foam tape.
Thsi challenge seemed perfect to use this technique with die cut circles.
The base card is white card stock with the flowers from Penny Black’s “delightful” stamped using Gina K amalgam ink.
At this point while I had the stamp set up n my Tim Holtz stamping platform I stamped it again on another piece of white cardstock to die cut the circles with Lifestyle Crafts nesting circle dies.
The verse from Penny Black’s “Betsy bluebell’ was stamped with the same ink.
Once I colored the circle image with Arteza real brush pens i foam taped them to the front of the card exactly over the matching area.

  1. It may be an old technique but still very effective as your elegant card displays and it's beautifully done here, thanks so much for creating such a pretty card for our 'Going round in circles' theme at Penny Black and More challenge.
