Especially in this day and age I would never want to limit a card to one gender or another...however the challenge called for a boy so I started to title it that way.
Then I decided to add for a girl in honor of my granddaughter.
The base card is white card stock with a layer of black card stock.
The main piece in white card stock that I sponged with Distress Oxide (dusty concord, bluepint sketch and black soot).
I dripped water on it and patted it with a paper towel.
Next I pulled out white watercolor paint and loaded a brush then sprinkled it on and set it aside to dry.
Now I stamped the boy and verses from Paper Smooches “Space Cadet” on white card stock with Gina K amalgam ink.
I colored him with a blue Faber Castell Polychromo pencil and American Crafts metallic silver pen before die cutting him with the coordinating die.
The words I trimmed out with a pair of scissors for a funky look.
All were glue dotted to the dry main piece that had been taped to the card.
