My idea of relaxing is card making, knitting or hand sewing.
I can renew & restore myself with any of these.
The base card is white linen card stock.
The main piece os water color paper.
On my light box I placed a printed out Bugaboo digi stamp (4 block tulip square) with the water color paper over it.
Next I pulled out three Derwent Inktense pencils (fuchsia, spring green and cherry).
With them I
colored the images and then water colored them with water and a brush.
(Note I extended the lines to make one flower from the blocks).
To complete the lady bug I drew in the black parts with a super fine line Sargent Art marker.
Finally I stamped the verse from Unity Stamp Co.’s “Relax, Renew, Restore” set using Distress Archival black soot ink.
Perfect sentiment for your beautiful rose card Arlene! When I saw the card I just went ... Ahhhhh. Wonderful, soothing, CAS design. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!
