For me this challenge meant a “fresh” set.
Right before Christmas Hobby Lobby had a sale for 50% off Tim Holtz products.
I found the Tim Holtz “Winter” die set that also includes a mini embossing folder.
I didn’t use it or the three others I bought that day as Christmas jet me busy.
So for a “fresh” package opening to make a “fresh” design I used it.
The paper came from a set of textured Tim Holtz Distress color card stock strips that I found in a clearance bin last summer.
The base card is white linen card stock that I used the mini embossing folder on.
I die cut the hat with two of the Distress papers and sponged the edges with the coordinating ink to give it demension.
I glued all the pieces together and glued it to the embossed area.
To finish I stamped the verse from a Tim Holtz set using the matching Distress ink.
Really love the CAS look of this card. Brilliant texture and a sweet little hat. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
