While still thinking Autumn I pulled out another piece of water color paper.
On this I stamped the leaves from Stampin’ Up’s “Gently Falling”.
I spritzed it and brushed the water over the entire piece.
Using Distress rusty hinge, fossilized amber and aged mahogany inks I water colored the leaves, then spritzed again and kept turning the paper until it was mostly dripped off.
Next came the heat tool.
Then I colored the leaves with each Distress ink.
The heat tool again and then just hitting certain spots with the brush and inks.
Once it was totally dry I stamped the “happy fall” (unknown company) to the piece.
T finish I attached it to rust card stock and then a brown base card.
Wow! You have achieved such stunning glazing when watercoloring with your distress inks. Absolutely lovely! Thank you so much for joining us on Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Have a lovely day! xx Ankita
