birds of a feather...

The birdie is so elegantly dressed with an Anna Griffin “poppy” embossing folder, which i ran through the BigShot with cranberry card stock before punching the bird and wing out with Stampin’ Up’s “Bird Builder Punch”.
The base card is white card stock with a layer of black card stock.
The main piece is white card stock that I stenciled with Distress hickory smoke ink and a tree stencil by Sheena.
The bird was attached with glue dots and the verse from Stampin’ Up’s “Express Yourself” was stamped with Adirondack cranberry ink.

  2. So clever of you to have embossed the card stock prior to cutting out the sweet little bird! A very beautiful card! Thanks for playing along at AHSC!

  3. Love this color combo and the way you stenciled the tree in; at first I thought it was a piece of marble-patterned paper that you cut/framed just so. I just love how hat stencil looks and how it all comes together. Thank you for sharing with us this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
