facebook post...

While checking out Facebook this morning a friend’s post showed string and ink art.
I couldn’t wait to try it so I pulled out one of the antique books I collect, The Carpet Froom Bagdad” by Harold MacGrath and went to town.
Without instructions I made the flower you see on the card.
I used cheap string that I had leftover from cards in the past and a Distress re-inker ripe persimmon.
Then I searched YouTube and found this...
The rest of the card was done with kraft card stock and rust paper.
I truly love anything with Autumn colors, you should see my home!
The “THANKS” was die cut from the kraft paper using
 MFT Die-namics die.
This card goes to the friend posted this idea that I am going to try on many cards.

I've never seen that before! I thought your flower was a stamp but had been wondering how the top was so "see through." Followed your link, and wow!! That looks like so much fun with amazing results.

Anyway, back to your card - it's beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week!
