everything old is new again...

In an antique sewing machine drawer, not in the machine, I keep all my Stamps by Judith stick and stubby stamps.
Today I started with a blue card stock base card.
The main piece is cream card stock with brown flecks on which I drew a circle lightly with a pencil.
Then I stamped the flowers, leaves, etc. with the Judith stamps and Kaleidacolor “spectrum” ink.
Using MFT Die-namics “slanted sentiment strips” I cut from scrap card stock a stencil which I used with the green from the ink pad to sponge the flag.
Using the stamp from an unknown company, and the blue from the ink pad I stamped the verse.
To finish I lightly sponged the whole card except the center of the wreath.
To finish, in the middle of the small blue flowers, I applied a dot of Ranger “glossy accents”.

  7. Fabulous card! I love that you used "basic" tools and techniques for such stunning results, especially making a mask to ink up the banner right onto your card, so clever! I love your choice of colors and images for the flowers, too. Thanks for sharing with us this week at AHSC.
