The Fourth of July is creeping up so this sketch gave me the idea for a card.
The base card is white card stock with a layer each of blue checked and red plaid.
The USA is a very old stamp (unknown company) and I stamped it on white card stock with Adirondack denim ink before trimming it with scissors.
I colored the state I am from with Distress barn door marker.
I cut a strip of the blue to place on the red.
On a piece of white card stock I stamped the verse (unknown company) with the Adirondack ink and trimmed it out with scissors before gluing it to the front of the card!
What a perfect take on the sketch - love your colour theme. You nailed this.

Love your color combo. It might be my computer but it looks more red, white and grey to me :-) Cute card! Thanks for playing along with us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch this week.
