Pink tulips...

and
Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 258

Spring is coming...I hope!
This card istarts with a green card stock base card.
Using MFT Die-namics “Inside & Out Stitched Square STAX” I
cut a larger square from black card stock and a smaller square of white card stock for the main piece.
On the main piece I stamped the flower from Paper Smooches “Feathered Friends” with StazOn jet black ink.
NOTE: I used scissors to slit the leaf away from the flower to allow different poses using the same stamp.
The flowers were colored with Crayola pencils as none of my others matched the green card stock I was using.
Once all the squares were attached I stamped the “Hello” from the same Paper Smooches set with the StazOn ink to another piece of green card stock and trimmed it out with a craft knife.
The “hello” was applied with glue dots for a bit of dimension!

  2. Gorgeous card! I love the softly shaded flowers and the clean layout. It makes a great contrast to the whimsical blooms. Love that your Crayola pencils came to the rescue. I use some to fill in once and a while, too.
    Thanks for sharing at AHSC!
