Our cards for next month’s card ministry meeting are Father’s Day cards.
That means taking the challenges and making a second challenge of male oriented.
The base card for this challenge is cream card stock.
I added a piece of grayish blue card stock, kraft card stock and patterned paper with the circle die cut out of it.
On white linen card stock I stamped the elephants from Paper Smooches “A Little Lovin” very lightly so I could do a “no line” coloring with my Prisma pencils.
After I trimmed them out and glue dotted them to the card I stamped the “Dad” from Paper Smooches “Noggin Toppers” with Adirondack slate ink.
Sweet card! Love the position of the elephants over the circle. Great colors. Thanks for playing along with us at CC&S!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute card for a boy to give his daddy! I like the watercolory look of the plaid paper and the soft look you achieved with the no-line coloring. Thanks for making CC&S part of your crafting time!
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the sketch! Thanks for playing along with us at CAS Colours & Sketches this week. Hope we can see your beautiful cards in our future galleries soon.
