watercolor Christmas...

Hopefully I will be able to explain how I did this card.
The base card is light blue card stock.
The next layer is dark blue card stock.
On a piece of white card stock I took a die from Stampin' Up's "Holiday Home" and a circle from Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing diffuser placing it under the spot I wanted to cut of the house.
Next I took an oval die from my nesting dies and placed the skinny cutting pads on either side under the oval die leaving the bottom of the house intact.
Once I ran that through the BigKick I took a small circle and one of the oval diffusers and cut the moon.
Then it was time to run it through the BigKick with the Darice snowflake embossing folder.
On a small piece of water color paper I painted the Distress inks.
Once they were dry I spritzed it with water and blotted it with a paper towel.
Once it was totally dry I glued it behind the white opening on the card.
On another piece of white card stock I stamped the verse from Penny Black's "White Christmas" with Distress ink.
After applying a strip of the dark blue card stock and glued it to the card front.
