quiet birthday...

Having a friend who is going through a lot of change in her life and it is keeping her very, very busy.
So I decided to send her a quiet birthday card this year.

The base card is tan card stock with a layer of red and then a layer of the patterned paper.
I cut out two strips of card stock and flagged one end each before applying them to the card front.
The tag is the same tan card stock that i stamped with the image from Newton's Nook Designs "Newton's Naptime" using Adirondack slate ink.
He was colored with Prisma pencils.
I trimmed the top to make it look like a tag and punched out the hole with a 1/8" hole punch before attaching the red & white twine then attaching it ti the card front.

  1. Love the colors you've used. They make for such a "homey" feel! Thanks for sharing with us at Inky Paws Challenge!
