green...

and

The verse for this card is one that I have loved for years.
The base card is white card stock with a layer of black card stock and a layer of green herringbone paper.
I stamped the little lambs from MFT Stamps "Ewe Are The Best" with StazOn jet black ink onto white card stock before coloring them with a Prisma green pencil.
Once they were cut out I layered them to the back of the black card stock strip, behind the white card stock strip with the verse (unknown company) stamped with Distress mowed lawn ink.

Lambs and Ireland, "mowed lawn" eaten by the lambs and the lambs turning green from eating so much of the grass all lead to the creation of this card.

  2. I never knew lambs turned green from eating fresh mowed grass! Thanks for that wonderful bit of trivia. Your lambs are adorable and I love this sentiment. Thank you for joining us at Cards in Envy.
